The biP.PORTO
biP.PORTO is a Polytechnic of Porto project inserted in the national U-Bike programme. biP.PORTO intends to encourage the use of bicycles among young university students, through the free provision of 200 electrical equipment that will be available to the entire academic community free of charge.
In partnership with FAP - Associação Académica do Porto, AMP - Área Metropolitana do Porto and CIM-TS - Comunidade Intermunicipal do Tâmega e Sousa, and the Social Action Services, P.PORTO intends to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, contributing to the awareness of its students and, above all, contributing to encouraging the use of this means of transport.
biP.PORTO implements and reinforces its position in the area of sustainability, namely in response to the climate crisis, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the Presidency's Action Plan 2022-2016.
